To develop and manage a world class organization, any manager should know the laws of management and recognize it’s presence in daily business. Nevertheless, most managers don’t take the proven principes and unwritten rules of management into account.

This book provides an overview of the 80 most important management laws every manager should access. Each management law is described and analyzed on the basis of do’s and don’ts, tips & tricks, critical comments, the relationship to other management laws and their impact on management. The “Management Law book” is an indispensable tool for every manager to keep the law.

About Marcel van Assen

Marcel van Assen (1969) is senior managing consultant bij Berenschot waar hij verantwoordelijk is voor de alle advisering rondom het thema Operational Excellence. Hij is bovendien lid van de Raad van Commissarissen van Gorenje, een sloveens beursgenoteerde onderneming.

Daarnaast is Marcel van Assen hoogleraar Operational Excellence for Services bij TiasNimbas Business School (Tilburg University).

Marcel van Assen is co-auteur van een groot aantal artikelen en boeken, waaronder i) Operational Excellence nieuwe stijl—implementatie, instrumenten en modellen voor een excellente bedrijfsvoering, ii) Praktijkboek Supply Chain Management, iii) Key Management Models, iv) Het Groot Managementmodellenboek, v) Het ManagementWetboek, vi) Reconfigurations of chains and networks.

Marcel van Assen (1969) is a senior managing consultant at Berenschot where he is responsible for all consultancy activities with respect to Operational Excellence. In addition, he is a member of the supervisory board of Gorenje, one of the largest Slovenian companies listed at the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
